This privacy notice explains how we collect, store and use personal data about you when you visit our website (officialfreshers.com) and our pass wallet sign up. This notice applies to all our Sites regardless of how they are made available to you or accessed by you.

If you do not want your data to be used as set out in this privacy notice, you should not use our sites and should remove the Pass Wallet from your mobile device alternatively you can opt out of text messaging services by responding to a text appropriately .

Each client we communicate on behalf of is independently responsible for its own legal and regulatory compliance and for the operation of its own venue and or service and all compliance arising from any transactions with you, any products/ services purchased by you from them.

What information do we collect and why do we collect it?
When you visit our platforms, we may collect personal information such as your name, mobile number, email address, date of birth and university attended as provided by you when you register for the Official Pass (our pass wallet platform).
We collect this information for the following reasons:
- To ensure you receive marketing and offers that are of most interest and relevance to you. We have a legitimate interest to collect this information: to get to know your preferences and to personalise our offers to you to improve the marketing you receive from us. We will store this personal information for 48months. You can opt out of receiving this direct marketing at any time, please see below for further information;
- To facilitate any competitions you may enter with us. This processing is necessary for the performance of a contract to which you are a party.
Can I stop receiving direct marketing?
Yes! We give you an opportunity to opt out of marketing at the point we collect your data by ticking the relevant boxes on the Pass Wallet sign up page. You are also always free to unsubscribe from direct marketing at any time; this will never have an impact on our commitment to provide you with great service and high quality events. To opt out of marketing, please email hello@officialfreshers.com alternatively you may respond to our text service with the relevant command. We will stop sending you marketing messages as soon as possible but, in any event, will do so no later than 48 hours from your request. If you opt out of marketing, we will record your marketing preference indefinitely. However should you sign back up for the Pass Wallet and select your preferences to subscribe we will recommence sending marketing communications to you.
How long do you keep me opted in for direct marketing?
We will communicate with you and store your data for 48months from the date you signed up to the Pass Wallet, then we will automatically opt you out of receiving further email and SMS direct marketing
Who do we share your information with?
We may share your personal information with our third-party direct marketing company Text Management Limited for the purpose of sending you promotional SMS and email messages.
Where do we store your personal data?
The data that we collect from you may be transferred to, and stored at, a destination outside the European Economic Area (“EEA”) pursuant to: (a) the model clauses published by the European Commission pursuant to Commission Decision C(2010) 593 Standard Contractual Clauses (Processors) and a copy of the model contract clauses is available here; or (b) the model clauses published by the European Commission pursuant to Commission Decision C 2004/915/EC Standard Contractual Clauses (Controller) and a copy of the model contract clauses is available here. Your data is treated securely and in accordance with this privacy notice.
In the event that any lawful basis were to be invalidated, we shall ensure data is transferred via an alternative, valid transfer mechanism then in existence.
Unfortunately, the transmission of information via the internet is not completely secure. Although we will do our best to protect your personal data, we cannot guarantee the security of any data transmitted to our Sites and any transmission is at your own risk.
Once we have received your information, we will use strict procedures and security features to try to prevent unauthorised access. All information you provide to us is stored on our secure servers.
